My journey as a florist began in 2014, when I started as a "Florist’s Assistant" at a flower shop in my hometown in Pennsylvania while still in high school. My role involved hands-on tasks like cleaning and processing the flowers that arrived at the shop—an experience that sparked my passion for floral design. At the same time, I was pursuing studies in graphic design, which now influences my unique style and artistic approach to floristry.

Shortly after graduating high school in 2017, I was promoted to Manager and Lead Florist at my local flower shop. With growing confidence in my floral design skills, I transitioned to a role at a wedding and events company, where I had the privilege of designing flowers for countless weddings and special occasions.

Amid these experiences, I launched my YouTube channel, Flowers by Alexis, to share my passion and expertise with a broader audience. Through my channel, I offer floral design tutorials, career advice for aspiring florists, and a behind-the-scenes look at my journey through vlogs and lifestyle content. Helping others navigate the world of floral design brings me immense joy, and I want to inspire more people to pursue this beautiful craft.

In April 2024, I officially launched Flower Curls LLC, serving the greater Philadelphia area. My mission is to spread the love of flowers through exquisite designs that captivate and elevate any space. I specialize in creating stunning floral arrangements for interior staging in hotels and corporate businesses, bringing beauty and elegance to every environment.
